DESCRIPTION

The aerial hammock is a versatile apparatus made from a long piece of aerial silk fabric rigged in a U-shape, allowing for both flowing movement and secure support. Unlike aerial silks (which hang as two separate tails), the hammock forms a single sling, making it accessible for beginners while still offering endless challenges for experienced aerialists.

We highly encourage that your child take the following classes to supplement their training: Stretch & Strength or Acro Tech. Either of these classes will help your child build more flexibility and strength, which is a great bonus to have when trying to achieve those harder aerial hammock poses.

ATTIRE

Bare feet/athletic wear (tank top & leggings or bodysuit preferred). No jewelry or zippers on clothing! No lotion as it can rub off and stain the silks.  Some moves are better with long sleeves & pants.
