Classes

Dynamic Aerial & Acrobatics offers kids classes in Aerial Silks, Hoop, Acro and Contortion! We are Acrobatic Arts, Aerial Arts and Alixa Flexibility certified, and have classes for beginner to advanced students. Our small class sizes enable us to focus on each student, and we encourage a hard working training environment with a focus on proper and safe techniques. With over 15 years of combined teaching experience, Dynamic aims to build strong & flexible students who will eventually move onto either performing, coaching, or simply to just stay active.

Classes

Aerial Silks: Our Aerial Silks program follows our in-house curriculum. Students in this class will go over strength exercises using the silks as well as practicing safe progressions for skills starting from in the knot to climbing the silk and then to drops & combos.

We highly recommend that your child take the following classes to help supplement their aerial training: Acro Tech or Contortion. Either of these classes will help your child build more flexibility and strength. Which is a great bonus to have when trying to achieve those harder aerial silk poses.

Aerial Hoop: Our Aerial Hoop program follows the Aerial Arts Syllabus as well as our own in-house curriculum. The class starts with strength & conditioning exercises that incorporate the aerial hoop. Students will then go through the proper progressions to safely achieve different aerial hoop poses, spinning & combos. We will be offering exams for this class through the Aerial Arts Program once they become available.

We highly recommend that your child take the following classes to help supplement their aerial training: Acro Tech or Contortion. Either of these classes will help your child build more flexibility and strength. This is a great bonus to have when trying to achieve those harder aerial hoop poses.

Contortion: This class follows the Alixa Flexibility Stretching program as well as our in-house contortion curriculum. Our 2.5hr classes will start with Strength & Conditioning for 30mins, then 1hr on Stretching and the last hour will focus on Contortion based skills. These classes are on Tuesdays & Thursdays will focus on Splits, Scorpions, Bridges & Chest Balances. Our 1.5hr classes on Wednesdays will focus on Handstands, Forearm Stands and Crocodiles, with the first 30 mins working on strength & conditioning.

We highly recommend that our students take one of the 2.5hr classes as well as the 1.5hr class to further their skills in contortion. This will help build a well rounded & strong contortionist.

Acro Tech: Our Acro tech classes will follow the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus. This program offers safe and effective progressions to build strong & flexible students. This class starts off with strength & flexibility exercises and then moves on to Limbering, Balances & Tumbling skills. Students will learn the proper progressions on how to take a Bridge into a Walkover and a Cartwheel into a Side Aerial!

We highly recommend that your child take the following classes to help supplement their acrobatic training: Aerial Hoop or Aerial Silks. Either of these classes will help your child build more strength and body awareness. Which is a great bonus to have when trying to achieve those harder acrobatic & tumbling skills.
